The Beatles - Famously Bad Statements
Famously Bad Statements

“We don’t like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out.” Decca Recording Co. rejecting the Beatles, 1962.
“There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home.” Ken Olson, president, chairman and founder of Digital Equipment Corp., 1977
“The concept is interesting and well-formed, but in order to earn better than a ‘C,’ the idea must be feasible.” — A Yale University management professor in response to Fred Smith’s paper proposing reliable overnight delivery service. (Smith went on to found Federal Express Corp.)
“I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.” — Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, 1943
“That ‘Rainbow’ song is no good – take it out.” — MGM official memo after the first screening of The Wizard Of Oz.
So how about you? Are you making any statements like this?  If you said “no” – please think again, because we all do!!  Okay – maybe not on the same scale as rejecting The Beatles or dismissing the personal computer. But how many times have we made a negative statement about our smile?
“It only hurts a little today, that funny sensation will go away tomorrow.”
“Dental work costs so much, maybe after I pay for . . ..”
“I never had my teeth cleaned when I was a kid, my kids don’t need to
have their teeth cleaned.”
“NO Needle!!!  Well, maybe for my next tattoo.”
And the list goes on and on. But the fact is, you can do just about anything you want to with your smile, and if you don’t take action, nobody will!!
So next time you think you can’t do something – look at these statements above. They were made by very smart people too!!!
How is this one?
“I’m going to start taking care of my Teeth.”
“I Need to help Mom with a new denture.”
“I’m getting my kids teeth taken care of this summer by scheduling cleanings.”
