The other morning I was getting my hair cut here in the beautiful town of Camden. I have been coming to the same barber shop for the last 20 years. It really is an enjoyable place to sit back, and people watch. You know you’re in a unique place, from Sarah Palin’s autographed portrait, Lowell’s golf “stuff”, to signed Christmas cards from Don McLean, of “Bye, bye Miss American Pie” fame, and his family.
Politics discussions are encouraged from the two Jones brothers. Fox News and Friends are welcomed. If not, it doesn’t matter, you’ll still get a great haircut. Through the years, I have heard some spirited discussions. Sometimes I think the $8 dollar haircut is worth it just to be able to listen in.
Last Friday when I sat down in Roger’s chair, he swung the chair around and faced it towards the harbor. This really is the highlight of my week, just to relax, get a trim, and visit. As I was sitting there, I started thinking about Rogers smile. I have had a chance to “look under the hood”. It really is impressive for an 80 year old.

Through the years Roger has proactively maintained his teeth. If I had to give his oral health a grade, it would get an A+. Roger has really strived to have a healthy smile. I just love his attitude.
Then the idea struck me. “Roger, would you mind if I took your picture for our dental website?” He graciously agreed.
I hope you enjoy Roger’s smile as much as I do.

Sad day, the Jones Brother barbershop is no more. – https://knox.villagesoup.com/p/an-era-ends-as-jones-brothers-barbershop-closes/1851176
I recently had my FIRST harcut at Jones Brothers, and it won’t be my last. Those two are the most awesome old fellows!
I’ve only been in the Camden shop once, with a friend. However, I know “Jones.” Bernie Jones gave me my first haircut back in the 1945 era, in Rockland, and continued to be my Friday night destination for more years than I can remember. In later years, son Alan Jones may have trimmed me in the adjacent chair at the Park a Street location of Jones & Watts(until John Watts retired). Bernie was my father’s barber for over 40 years.
Hello Lawreston, Thanks for stoping by. All the best. Dr. Medina
