Crown and Bridge in Midcoast Maine

We are often asked, “What is a crown?” or “What is a bridge?”. We know a picture is worth a thousand words, How about a short video? This will surely answer any questions that you may have.

Doing crowns and bridges at our dental office in Midcoast Maine is so exciting. And as with everything else, dental technology keeps changing and improving with time. Here is an example of a crown and a bridge that we recently did. It’s 2018 , and we elected to go with Jensen Dental’s Zirconium product Imagine™.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were doing these with porcelain. Even though porcelain is a great product, we know from porcelain dishes how easily they can chip and break. That is the main reason we prefer the zirconium products, they are much, much stronger and don’t chip and break as easily.

  2. My dentist in Shoreline, Washington helped provide me with dental crowns after I suffered a broken tooth from a sports injury. At Gentling Smiles, they were very patient and attentive to my needs.
