Dear Dental Volunteers,
As the week draws to a close, I just want to say thank you to those who worked the Fort Worth Pathway to Health mega-clinic.
We were indeed Gideon’s army, providing service to close to 700 patients! Never before have we worked with a provider’s roster as small as it was in Texas. But Jesus sent angels who excel in power and strength, and we were able to finish strong, by the grace of God!
So many of you gave so selflessly. Dr. Heather Martinson, and Dr. Daniel Mertz, to close your entire offices and to bring your whole staff to join us if even for a day, was above and beyond! We appreciate you so very much! We are especially grateful to those who joined us from Texas A&M. We can not thank you enough for your contribution to our clinic on the last day.
So many were unseen, and for that, we are always troubled. Our only hope is that the few who were seen were left with a fresh impression of what Jesus looks like.
In the weeks to come, we’d like each of you to reflect on your Fort Worth experience. A survey will come to you, asking for your feedback. Please be as candid and constructive as you can be. The survey will be anonymous.
